Neck Lift Procedure Overview:
Time involved, anesthesia, recovery time and other things involved in a neck lift:
- During a neck lift the vertical bands under the chin are released and the muscles are repositioned to support the tissues and reverse sagging.
- Excess neck skin is removed to create a more youthful contour.
- Liposuction can be used to eliminate a double chin.
After your neck lift surgery:
- After your neck lift your face will be wrapped in a bandage
- You should expect some bruising or swelling after neck lift surgery
- You can return to work and regular activities after 2 weeks
Your new look:
- Most of the time I perform a neck lift at the same time as other facial rejuvenating procedures such as facelift, brow lift, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), skin resurfacing and/or lip augmentation.
