Body contouring refers to tummy tuck and liposuction. Both of these procedures address common complaints that are difficult to fix with diet and exercise alone. A tummy tuck (also called abdominoplasty) removes excess skin on the abdomen and tightens the underlying abdominal muscles.
Liposuction is used to remove stubborn areas of fat. While liposuction alone can be performed in the office, I often combine it with other procedures such as facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, breast reduction and/or tummy tuck. By combining these procedures, I can offer my patients total body (or facial) contouring during one surgery.
