Is taking diet pills like Phentermine and getting a tummy tuck safe?
I do not advised continuing to take any diet pills prior to surgery. These pill can cause high blood pressure and a high heart rate during surgery. I instruct patients to stop taking these medications 2-4 weeks before having surgery. Also, I do not advise dieting prior to surgery. Poor nutrition can affect healing time.
